Hand2Candy is an assistive robotics prototype developed during the 42 Paris × Hugging Face LeRobot Worldwide Hackathon. The system uses a 6-DOF robotic arm and Physical AI to detect a human hand and gently offer a candy, demonstrating intuitive human–robot interaction for accessibility and social engagement. Built end-to-end, from data collection to live deployment, in under 30 hours, it serves as a proof-of-concept for inclusive, real-world assistive robotics.
