Project Description: Physiotherapy Semi-Seniors Custom Hoodie Collection

I have designed a comprehensive series of back-prints for Physiotherapy Semi-Senior hoodies (Classes of 2026 & 2028). This project was a creative challenge to blend the medical identity of the students with the iconic heritage of Port Said.

Design Aesthetics & Styles

The collection explores two distinct visual directions:

The Varsity Style: A bold, collegiate look featuring heavy block typography, graduation motifs, and a strong focus on the graduation year. It is designed to evoke a sense of "Seniority" and academic achievement.

The Retro & Illustrative Style: A more artistic approach incorporating Arabic calligraphy and detailed illustrations of the Port Said Lighthouse. This style connects the students' academic journey to their home city’s historic identity.

The Creative Journey (The Process)

The final results are the outcome of a long and iterative process. It took a significant amount of time to:

Balance Symbolism: I experimented with integrating medical-related slogans like "Failure?! CONTRAINDICATED" and "First to suffer, First to rise" with local symbols like the Flamingo and the lighthouse to create a unique "Brand" for the class.

Typography & Layout: Refining the hierarchy between the English text and Arabic script was crucial to ensure the designs felt modern yet grounded in tradition.

Color Strategy & Fine-Tuning

A major portion of the project was dedicated to color exploration. I worked extensively on:

Matching Harmonies: Testing various palettes—including deep maroons, vibrant purples, and sophisticated pinks—to find the perfect "matching colors" that pop against the dark hoodie bases.

Consistency: Ensuring that every element, from the heartbeat lines to the stylized numbers, felt part of a cohesive visual language.

This project showcases the evolution from initial concept sketches to a polished, professional final product that students can wear with pride.
