Smart Attendance App Using QR Code

This project presents a modern, efficient, and secure solution for managing student atten-

dance using mobile technology and QR codes. By eliminating manual roll calls, the ap-

plication reduces administrative workload and mitigates issues such as proxy attendance.

It offers real-time data capture, improved accuracy, and a more transparent process for

both students and teachers.

From a development perspective, the project allowed us to apply key concepts in An-

droid development, backend communication, and database integration. It also enhanced

our collaboration skills through the use of version control systems like Git and tools like

Overleaf for documentation.
