This project presents a fully integrated smart home automation system designed to dynamically monitor and respond to environmental conditions in real time. The Arduino UNO is employed as a central Data Acquisition (DAQ) unit, responsible for signal conditioning, analog-to-digital conversion, and real-time processing of data from a range of sensors, including LM35 (temperature), LDR (light intensity), TCRT5000 (IR object detection), HC-SR04 (ultrasonic distance), MQ-2 (gas and smoke), DHT-22 (humidity), and a Load Cell with HX711 amplifier (weight measurement). The collected data is interfaced with LabVIEW, which serves as the visualization and control platform, enabling enhanced user interaction and real-time system monitoring. Based on sensor feedback, the system intelligently controls various actuators such as LEDs, fans, buzzers, and servo motors. This project demonstrates the integration of embedded systems, sensor networks, real-time DAQ, and human-machine interaction through LabVIEW in a scalable and practical smart home framework.
