Network project

A company with two branches, each branch connected to the Service Provider (SP), and both branches are linked through a VPN (Virtual Private Network).

HQ:

?Consists of four floors, each floor’s devices are connected to an Access Switch.

?Every two floors are aggregated on a Sub-Core Switch.

?The two sub-core switches are connected to two Layer 3 Core Switches, where each core switch operates as primary and secondary using HSRP for half of the VLANs.

?The branch is divided into multiple VLANs, with Inter-VLAN Routing handled by the core switches.

?The uplink ports between switches are bundled using EtherChannel, and 802.1Q trunking is enabled.

?DHCP is enabled, with one core switch acting as the DHCP server and the other configured as backup.

◼Branch :

?Consists of three floors, each floor’s devices are connected to an Access Switch.

?All access switches are connected to a Layer 2 Distribution Switch, which connects to a router configured with ROAS .

?An Access Point (AP) is deployed for wireless devices.

?Switch interfaces are assigned IP addresses for remote management via Telnet/SSH.

?RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, IEEE 802.1w) is enabled to prevent loops and ensure fast convergence.
