In this project, an advanced multiphysics simulation of a Plum (Palm) Contact used in Medium Voltage switchgear was developed using COMSOL Multiphysics. The simulation focuses on the thermal performance of electrical contacts under current load by coupling electrical conduction physics with heat transfer analysis to evaluate temperature rise, heat distribution, and potential failure points.
