The Fire & Smoke Detection system is designed to enhance safety by automatically identifying fire outbreaks or smoke presence from surveillance camera feeds. The goal is to provide early warning and reduce response time in critical situations such as classrooms, offices, or public spaces.

For this project, I utilized the YOLO (You Only Look Once) object detection framework to recognize both fire and smoke in real-time video streams. YOLO was chosen because of its high accuracy and speed, making it suitable for continuous monitoring applications.
