Swaply: skill exchange platform

As the lead contributor on my graduation project, I worked on building the backend services and implementing real-time features like chat, audio and video calls, and screen sharing using Socket.IO and WebRTC. I developed the main React components, handled data integration with React Query, and set up authentication using Firebase (Facebook and Google) combined with JWT. I also managed media uploads through Cloudinary, added interactive 3D visuals with Spline, and took part in refining the design using Figma. To boost user engagement, I introduced gamification badges. The platform isn’t live yet, as I’m still polishing and testing it to make sure it’s fully ready for real world use not just a demo.
