Model Setup

Use Revit (or equivalent) with clear worksets per trade.

Follow LOD 300–400 for shop drawings.

Maintain shared coordinates and project standards.

File Structure

01_Models > Discipline > Date

02_ShopDrawings > Floor/Zone > Rev

03_Coordination > ClashReports

Workflow

Model → Coordination (Navisworks/Clash) → Shop Drawings → QA/QC → Submission.

Use BIM 360 or CDE for version control and approvals.

Naming Convention

[Discipline]_[Level]_[Area]_[Element]_RevXX

Submission

Export drawings from federated model.

Include title block with revision, approval, and model reference.
