This project is a National Rail Performance Dashboard designed to provide a high-level overview of train service operations and punctuality. The dashboard synthesizes key performance indicators (KPIs) to help rail operators, management, and stakeholders quickly assess the health of the service over a given period.
The primary goals are to:
Quantify the total volume of train trips completed.
Measure and highlight service reliability through on-time performance metrics.
Identify the scale of service disruptions by analyzing the number and percentage of delayed and cancelled trains.
Present a visual breakdown of the various reasons contributing to cancellations and delays, allowing for targeted operational improvements.
The dashboard is built for clarity and quick decision-making, presenting a snapshot of operational performance that can be used to identify trends, problem areas, and overall service quality
