Project Description:
This project focuses on simulating the interconnection between the headquarters of a large enterprise and its medium-sized branch offices through a secure and scalable network infrastructure. The experiment was designed to emulate real-world enterprise conditions, ensuring both high availability and multi-site communication efficiency. Advanced routing and switching techniques were implemented to optimize data transfer and maintain redundancy between sites. To safeguard the internal network, a multilayer security framework was established using enterprise-grade firewalls for traffic filtering, intrusion prevention, and access control. Simultaneously, a WLAN environment was deployed at the headquarters to provide seamless wireless connectivity and support for mobile employees. Network segmentation and authentication mechanisms were configured to isolate departments and enforce security policies. The project also incorporated centralized management of access points for optimized signal distribution and scalability. This simulation demonstrated the integration of network security, wireless mobility, and inter-branch connectivity in a unified, high-performance enterprise environment.
