Interconnecting Two Networks Using Routers and Testing End-to-End Communication in Cisco Packet Tracer

تفاصيل العمل

I designed and implemented a Cisco Packet Tracer project to establish secure and efficient communication between two separate LANs through multiple routers.

Network Overview:

Router0 connects to the Server (192.168.1.3) through a local switch.

Router1 acts as an intermediate router linking both sites via serial connections.

Router2 connects to the client network (192.168.3.0/24) and provides access to PC0.

Implementation Steps:

Configured IP addressing on all interfaces according to the subnet plan.

Established serial connections between routers using appropriate clock rates.

Added static routes (or dynamic routing if required) to enable full reachability between LANs.

Tested end-to-end connectivity using ICMP (ping) from PC0 to the server.

Verified routing tables and interface status with commands like:

show ip interface brief

show ip route

ping and tracert

Results:

Successful connectivity between PC0 and Server0.

Proper routing between all network segments.

Functional and organized topology representing a real-world WAN interconnection scenario.

This project demonstrates my ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot multi-router topologies in Cisco environments, applying core concepts of IP addressing, routing, and network verification.
