This study aims at identifying the impact of the recruitment process, which includes three activities: polarization, staffing and selection on the overall performance of the institution. Where the reliability of the balanced performance card was used to measure the performance of the institution; which has four dimensions: financial dimension, the internal processes dimension, the customer dimension and learning and growth dimension, based on a form distributed to the heads of sections of a group of small and medium enterprises in the state of Setif, After analyzing the data statistically, the study concluded that there is a positive effect of the recruitment process on the overall performance of the small and medium enterprises in the study
