تفاصيل العمل

This project presents a MATLAB GUI application developed using App Designer to simulate a complete end-to-end communication system. The application models the transmission of audio signals from a transmitter through a configurable communication channel with noise interference, and finally to a receiver equipped with a filtering stage. Each stage of the system is designed to be interactive, allowing users to listen to the audio signal as it progresses through the transmission path. The channel offers three selectable models to emulate various transmission environments, while the noise component introduces realistic disturbances that affect signal quality. At the receiver end, an ideal low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 1400 Hz is implemented to simulate the limited bandwidth of traditional Egyptian landline telephony. The interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it accessible for students and practitioners alike. This tool serves as an effective educational platform for exploring and reinforcing theoretical concepts in communication systems, particularly in understanding the effects of bandwidth limitation, noise, and channel distortion on audio signal transmission.
