Overview:

The Hadaeq El Qubba Digital Directory website was created using the free version of the official Odoo platform.

The aim of the project was to provide a comprehensive online directory for the residents and visitors of Hadaeq El Qubba, featuring all essential businesses and services such as restaurants, supermarkets, government offices, hospitals, and more.

Work Process:

Platform Setup:

1-Built the website using the free plan on the official Odoo platform.

2-Configured basic settings including language, time zone, and branding suitable for the directory.

Website Design:

1-Selected and customized an Odoo theme to fit the project’s purpose.

2-Designed a clean and user-friendly homepage with a clear navigation structure.

3-Added banners, icons, and categories for each service type (restaurants, markets, hospitals, etc.).

Data Collection:

1-Collected accurate and up-to-date information about all key services and businesses in Hadaeq El Qubba.

2-The data included restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, medical clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, government offices, and local shops.

Content Management:

1-Entered all collected data into the website’s database.

2-Organized the businesses into main categories and subcategories for easy browsing.

Added detailed information for each listing including:

Business name - Full written address - Contact phone numbers - a direct link to the location on Google Maps.

Feature Setup:

1-Enabled a search function for quick and easy access to any service.

2-Integrated interactive maps to display the exact location of each business.

3-Optimized the website for both desktop and mobile devices.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

1-Tested all features including search filters, links, and map integration.

2-Checked website performance on various devices and browsers.

3-Made improvements to enhance speed, usability, and accessibility.

Launch:

1-Published the website on the free Odoo hosting service.

2-Ensured the site can be easily updated and expanded with new listings in the future.
