Proud to share my graduation project: ORTHO STEP — a motorized rehabilitation device designed to support both upper and lower limb recovery.
It combines mechanical movement with electrical stimulation (EMS) to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence — whether at home or in clinics.
1- Low-cost & locally manufacturable
2- Adjustable speeds for different therapy stages
3- Suitable for stroke recovery, elderly patients, and post-surgery rehab
4- Designed with safety, comfort, and simplicity in mind
Throughout this project, I had the chance to design the product entirely using SolidWorks and also build it myself in the workshop — an experience that deepened my understanding of both design and manufacturing processes.
It was a journey of learning, problem-solving, and hands-on development.
This project reflects my passion for industrial design with a medical purpose — solving real-life problems through functional, human-centered solutions.
