Renovation of an Old Green Space – Sheraton, Egypt

For this project, I reimagined an old, neglected green space in Sheraton and turned it into a lively entertainment garden for all ages. When we first visited the site, I saw not just an empty plot but a place with potential to bring people together. I wanted to create a space where visitors could enjoy nature, share their talents, and escape the noise of the city.

The design journey was my favorite part—I spent time visualizing how people would walk through the space, interact with each corner, and feel at ease. Choosing the right vegetation was especially exciting, as each plant shaped a different microclimate, adding character to the garden. I also worked on detailed plans for pathways and landscape elements to make sure the design could come to life realistically.

This project taught me how landscape design can heal, connect, and inspire communities while making even small urban spaces feel like a retreat.
