Matbakhna — Home-Cooked Food Ordering App (UI/UX Case Study)

Matbakhna is a mobile food ordering app focused on delivering authentic home-cooked meals through a smooth and friendly user experience. The goal was to create a clean, modern interface that makes browsing, selecting, and ordering meals fast and intuitive.

Project Scope

I designed a complete UI flow including:

Splash Screen with brand identity and food-themed iconography

Login Screen with email/password + social login options (Apple/Google)

Registration Screen with a simple and structured form layout

Home Menu Screens with category-based browsing (Main Dish / Dessert / Drinks)

Key UX Highlights

Fast discovery: A prominent search bar and quick category chips help users find meals easily.

Clear product presentation: Meal cards display a large image, name, cuisine type, and price for quick decision-making.

One-tap actions: A visible “+” button allows users to add items to the cart instantly.

Consistent navigation: Bottom navigation ensures smooth access to core sections like Home, Favorites, Cart, and Profile.

Friendly visual identity: A warm orange accent color reinforces appetite appeal and improves brand recognition.
