Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Framework

(OCAIF) with resilient cybersecurity ecosystem fortifies the country against a rise in cyberattacks by

25% in 2023, costing OMR 19.25 million and targeting 40% of critical infrastructure (Oman National

CERT, 2023). The newly enhanced framework addresses previous issues of complexity, rural scalability,

and engagement with traditional sectors while embracing advanced AI techniques and methods like

Autoencoders, reinforcement learning, and Arabic NLP, with standardization through STIX/TAXII. It

provides inclusivity (30% benefitting women, 20% rural participants, and 80% adoption by SMEs by

the year 2027) and culturally aligned with Oman Islamic values and the Personal Data Protection Law

(Royal Decree 6/2022).
