الحضارة المصرية القديمة من أقدم وأعظم حضارات التاريخ، وظهرت على ضفاف نهر النيل حوالي 5000 سنة قبل الميلاد. أشهر ما يميزها الأهرامات، الكتابة الهيروغليفيه، تقدمها في الطب والفلك والهندسة. قامت على الزراعة وحكمها الفراعنة، وظلت متفوقة لآلاف السنين خلفت تراث ضخم أذهل العالم حتى اليوم.
