Shopping Vocabulary & Speaking Practice

This is a sample of a lesson I designed and delivered for A2-level English learners, focused on using gerunds (-ing form) correctly after certain verbs.

In this lesson, students learned how to use gerunds in common expressions such as:

I enjoy shopping.

They finished eating.

She’s interested in learning English.

The session included guided practice, matching activities, visual examples, and role-play to help learners use gerunds naturally in speaking and writing.

The lesson aimed to improve fluency, grammar accuracy, and confidence in everyday communication.
