This project involves a comprehensive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) of unemployment trends over a 9-year period. The objective was to uncover patterns, fluctuations, and insights related to unemployment rates across different regions, time periods, and demographic factors.

The dataset was first cleaned and preprocessed by handling missing values, parsing dates, and ensuring consistent data types. Time-series analysis techniques were applied to observe year-over-year and seasonal changes. Visualizations such as line plots, heatmaps, and bar charts were used to illustrate trends and compare unemployment rates across states, age groups, and education levels.

Key insights include the identification of economic cycles, periods of significant employment disruption (e.g., during economic downturns or global events), and regions with persistently high or low unemployment. The project provides valuable context for understanding labor market dynamics and serves as a foundation for further predictive modeling or policy recommendations.
