Built a fully redundant and load-balanced enterprise network lab using Cisco Packet Tracer to simulate a real-world corporate environment connected to an ISP. The project focused on ensuring maximum uptime, eliminating single points of failure, and implementing secure edge routing.

Key Implementation Details:

Layer 2 (Switching): Configured VLANs for network segmentation and secured access ports using PortFast and BPDU Guard to protect the STP topology.

Redundancy & Load Balancing: Bundled links between core switches using EtherChannel (LACP) for increased bandwidth. Implemented Rapid-PVST+ and tuned HSRP (Active/Active) to distribute traffic dynamically, ensuring sub-second failover if a core switch goes down.

Layer 3 (Routing): Enabled Inter-VLAN routing via SVIs on Multilayer Switches and configured single-area OSPF (Area 0) to dynamically exchange internal routes between the core and edge layers.

WAN Connectivity & NAT: Established a Static Default Route to the ISP and used OSPF Default Propagation (default-information originate) to safely advertise the internet path internally. Configured PAT (NAT Overload) along with Standard ACLs to translate private IPs and successfully allow internal devices to reach the public internet.
