Human Resources (HR) attrition refers to the phenomenon of employees leaving an organization voluntarily or involuntarily.
Key Findings:
Attrition Rate : The analysis revealed an overall attrition rate of 16.12% across the sampled organisations .
Number of employees : Total number 1470. The analysis revealed an attrition rate of 237 employees
Age : Younger employees, particularly those in the age range of 28-35, showed higher attrition rates compared to older employees ,Similarly, employees with shorter tenures exhibited a greater likelihood of leaving the organization
Job satisfaction : There is a convergence in job satisfaction factors.
Performance : Employees who achieved high performers results at a rate of 3 were more likely to leave the organization
Attrition rates by department :Some departments experienced higher attrition rates compared to others. In the sales department, the attrition rate was 20.12%, while the human resources rate was 19.05%, research and development was 13.84%.
Attrition and overtime rates :The increase in overtime hours was associated with an increase in attrition rates to 53%.
Attrition rates by Job Role :The top three is Laboratory Technical with high attrition rates then Sales Executive and Research Scientist .
Monthly Income : The analysis recorded that Sales Representative, Research Scientist and Laboratory Technical had the lowest levels of monthly income.
Percentage of increase in salary : The Sales Director, Research Director and Human Resources were recorded receiving smaller salary increase.
