High-Level Network Design (HLD) – Site Office)
Project Description:
I was responsible for developing the High-Level Design (HLD) for the Site Office network infrastructure using Cisco network devices. The objective was to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient network environment that supports the office's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Created a detailed High-Level Network Design document for the site.
Selected appropriate Cisco models for all network roles (core, distribution, access).
Designed the topology including:
Core switching layer using Cisco Catalyst 9500 series
Redundant distribution and access layer switches
Edge router for WAN connectivity
Defined logical VLAN structure for:
Admin network
Integrated with Radius Server and Wireless network
CCTV & security
Server and management
Integrated redundancy and high availability for core components.
Designed power and rack placement with UPS considerations.
Coordinated device placement and interconnections with low current and electrical teams.
