SAMS is focused on addressing the issue of unethical teaching practices and ensuring student
well-being. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, particularly
for students with disabilities. We aim to enable real-time detection of abuse or neglect, allowing
for swift intervention rather than relying on manual reporting.
Additionally, we are committed to ensuring privacy-compliant monitoring that does not
compromise sensitive data. Our objectives include reducing the rates of abuse and neglect in
classrooms, improving students' mental health and academic performance, and facilitating faster
resolution of reported incidents. We also strive to comply with privacy and disability laws,
ultimately enhancing the school's reputation as a safe and inclusive institution.
How can SAMS address this problem?
SAMS utilizes an advanced computer vision model that analyzes behaviors and interactions in
classrooms in real time. This system is integrated with a local processing unit that connects
traditional cameras in the classrooms to our powerful deep learning model. It generates reports
on interactions to identify any instances of inappropriate behavior. If abuse or violence is
detected, an alert is sent to a mobile application along with details of the incidents, allowing the
administrator to quickly respond and take appropriate action. This enables faster intervention
through automated alerts and addresses limitations in alternative solutions.
