I was responsible for end-to-end manual testing of Sinad, a mobile application available on both Android and iOS platforms. The project consisted of two separate apps:
Client App: Provides various on-demand services such as self-care, maintenance, fitness, and moving.
Service Provider App: Allows registered professionals to manage and deliver their services.
Both apps were supported and monitored by a web-based admin dashboard.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzed business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test plans.
- Executed manual testing across multiple devices and OS versions to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
- Performed functional, regression, UI/UX, smoke, and end-to-end testing on both apps and the admin dashboard.
- Validated user flows, booking and scheduling logic, real-time notifications, service filtering, and payment integration.
- Reported bugs and usability issues using a structured defect management process and collaborated closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.
- Conducted API validation to ensure data consistency between the apps and the dashboard.
Outcome:
Contributed to the successful launch of a stable, user-friendly app experience for both clients and service providers. My testing efforts helped ensure a seamless service flow and minimized post-release defects.
