This project presents a cohesive visual identity for a café concept that evokes nostalgia while embracing contemporary design sensibilities. The branding is inspired by vintage aesthetics, particularly mid-century modern design, with a palette dominated by deep navy, burnt orange, and soft cream. These colors convey warmth, familiarity, and sophistication—perfect for a space where people gather, unwind, and enjoy thoughtfully crafted coffee and pastries.

The identity incorporates hand-lettered Arabic script to add a personal and culturally resonant touch. Iconic elements such as retro radios, postage stamp motifs, and old-school notepads subtly reference slower, simpler times, while maintaining a clean, modern composition. Photographic elements—like croissants and steaming mugs—are tastefully integrated with graphic overlays, offering a balanced mix between tactile textures and digital finesse.

To complement the identity, a series of mini illustrations and doodles was developed. These include a steaming cup, takeaway coffee, croissants, utensils, and other café staples—all designed in a flat, simplified form with a grainy texture for a nostalgic effect. They serve as versatile assets, perfect for packaging, social media, and in-store decor, enhancing the brand’s visual rhythm without overwhelming it.

Overall, this identity system captures the essence of a warm, retro-inspired café where design and flavor meet. It balances storytelling, authenticity, and usability, ensuring it can be applied seamlessly across both digital and physical touchpoint
