Network Engineer

A Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organization’s computer networks. They ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for users. Network Engineers work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot network-related issues, upgrade systems, and maintain security.

Key Responsibilities:

•Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, etc.)

•Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices

•Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues

•Perform network maintenance and system upgrades

•Ensure network security and connectivity

•Provide technical support and guidance to users and IT staff

•Document network configurations and procedures

•Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues

Required Skills:

•Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

•Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall technologies

•Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment

•Problem-solving and analytical skills

•Communication and teamwork abilities

•Certifications like CCNA, CCNP are a plus
