This project was an upscale office building design located on one of Tehran's most important boulevards. It included 20 office units in 5 different layouts.

In conventional office projects, the various sections are separated by walls. This often results in central rooms not receiving natural light, or receiving undesirable western and eastern light, or a weaker plan for distributing light to all parts of the unit.

Since light is crucial for buildings in Tehran, I sought a strategy to bring the desired northern and southern light to all sections of the building. My goal was to provide all units with views of the park to the north and the city to the south, without compromising the quality of space separation.

I arrived at an architectural diagram where all five units are arranged linearly but intertwined. As a result, all units benefit from views of the park and the city, as well as northern and southern light.

The diagram features slabs designed as interlocking rings, creating a dynamic and continuous circulation that allows for space separation using height differences instead of dividing walls.

Within each level, between two or three units, a 90-square-meter open-plan space accessible to adjacent units was designed to accommodate the secondary functions of the units.

However, in our all-glass architecture, there are functions that should not appear transparent. Therefore, restrooms, kitchens, and vertical accesses such as staircases and elevators are located in a massive and solid box in the east and west of the building to prevent the entry of eastern and western light. The stairs in each arm reach the building's slabs and provide access.

The middle shaders have taken on the role of the building's structure, which are placed as shear walls in spans of up to 7 meters.

I believe that architecture should ultimately lead to the creation of a space that has a unique sensory quality. In this administrative typology of architecture, between these floor slabs with a panoramic view of the space, suspended slabs, successive stairs, and shaders that weave the spaces together, create a promenade for the observer that turns the building into architecture
