Conjunctiva Segmentation

I’m excited to share my latest project on automated conjunctiva segmentation for medical diagnostics!

This project focuses on extracting the conjunctiva region from eye images—an essential step in anemia detection and other medical applications. Using OpenCV, I implemented a pipeline that enhances the image, applies thresholding and morphological operations, and utilizes contour detection to achieve accurate segmentation.

The next step is integrating CNN models and pre-trained architectures to improve adaptability and accuracy across diverse datasets, moving closer to real-world medical applications.
