Excited to Share My Recent Project: OpenVZ and Virtualizor Cloud Control Panel with

WHMCS for VDS/VPS Hosting Services I'm thrilled to present my latest project, where I

orchestrated the setup of a robust infrastructure to offer Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS) and

Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting services. This endeavor involved deploying a powerful fleet

of 30 Dell R620 servers, each boasting 2 CPUs with a total of 48 threads, 192 GB of RAM, and

storage configurations including 2x250 GB SSD for the system and root, along with 4x1 TB SSD

for VZ storage.

Let's dive into the key highlights:

Network Setup: Leveraging 10 GB LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol), we ensured

high bandwidth and redundancy, creating a resilient network infrastructure.

Firewall SEC: Security was paramount, so we deployed pfSense firewalls for enhanced

protection. All nodes were placed in an internal network with one-to-one NAT, limiting access

to authorized administrators only.

OpenVZ Mastery: Container-based virtualization was at the core of our setup. We

meticulously installed and configured OpenVZ across all 30 Dell R620 servers, guaranteeing

optimal resource allocation for each container.

Virtualizor at the Helm: As our cloud control panel of choice, we installed and configured

Virtualizor on top of OpenVZ. This allowed us to fine-tune plans/packages, backup strategies, IP

pools, and templates for Linux and Windows.

Virtualizor Master Wizardry: We established a standalone Virtualizor master outside the

cluster, diligently managing the 30 slave servers via the Virtualizor API.

Seamless WHMCS Integration: Automation and provisioning were streamlined by

integrating the Virtualizor module into WHMCS. We configured plans and packages for a

seamless customer experience.

Bulletproof Backup Storage: Data security and backup reliability were nonnegotiables. We

set up a standalone TrueNAS storage with 25 TB HDD storage, utilized Virtualizor's native

backup service via SSH storage on the Virtualizor master, and implemented robust backup plans

for all customer services.

Conclusion: Our project culminated in a powerful infrastructure ready to deliver VDS/VPS

hosting services. The deployment of Dell R620 servers, meticulous network and firewall

configuration, WHMCS integration, and the implementation of a rock-solid backup solution

ensure the highest standards of service and data protection.
