This project leverages the power of YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once version 8), a state-of-the-art object detection model, to enhance safety on construction sites by continuously monitoring workers and machinery. The system is designed to detect potential hazards in real-time, such as workers not wearing proper safety gear (e.g., helmets, vests), unauthorized personnel in restricted zones, or unsafe interactions between workers and heavy machinery.
