On April 15, 2023, "Hemedti" and his crew—the Rapid Support Forces—thought they could snatch power in Sudan and flip the whole game. They tried to sell the world this fairytale about fighting for democracy, taking down the old regime leftovers still clinging to power after the people threw out Bashir in 2019. But, they were only fooling themselves. Everybody knew what they had been up to in West Sudan, and the world caught on real quick. They couldn’t even hide their own filth—they documented their crimes themselves. Khartoum became their graveyard, along with every mercenary they dragged in from across Africa.
