This engineering project aims to design and construct a Reconnaissance Rover equipped with essential components such as an ultrasonic sensor, GPS, camera, Arduino units, and a basic metal detector circuit. The rover's primary goal is to autonomously explore different environments, gather data, and detect metallic objects. The ultrasonic sensor enables obstacle detection and accurate distance measurement for safe navigation. The GPS system provides precise location information, facilitating targeted exploration and mapping. The
camera captures visual data for analysis and remote monitoring purposes. The Arduino units serve as the rover's control center, coordinating its functions, collecting sensor data, and enabling communication among the various modules. The integration of a basic metal detector circuit enhances the rover's capabilities in identifying and locating metal objects during reconnaissance missions. This project aims to develop a versatile and autonomous Reconnaissance Rover that can collect data, capture images, and detect metals effectively in diverse environments.
