DESCRIPTION:
The process involves filling a bucket with three different colors. The bucket must be placed under each color tank for a specific amount of time, depending on the percentage of the color recipe. After that, the bucket is sent to the mixer to combine the colors, and then returned to its original position. To enter the percentage of colors, you can use either SCADA or HMI.
HARDWARE:
- Two Siemens plc s7-1200 working as a Main-Auxiliary.
- AC Motor driven by Schneider ATV12 VFD.
- Incremental Encoder for accurate position control.
- Schneider HMI.
All hardware connected to The Auxiliary PLC and Main PLC has no wire but the code.
COMMUNICATION:
- Profinet (Ethernet): between the Main, Auxiliary, HMI, and SCADA.
- Modbus RTU (RS485): between the Auxiliary and VFD.
SOFTWARE:
- TIA Portal: for SCL code.
- WinCC: for SCADA.
- Vijeo Designer: for HMI
