SORTING project

DESCRIPTION:

The project is a sorting process for big or small boxes taken from SCADA, There are 8 positions available to put the boxes and the main position, and There is a cylinder that has three movements Up, Down and Suction.

- Note : Cylinder up , Cylinder down and the Suction are not working so we moved the boxes manually.

HARDWARE:

- Two Siemens PLC S7-300 working as a Master-Slave.

- Two AC Motors driven by Two LS M100 Drives.

- Incremental Encoder for accurate position control.

- Two Proximity Sensors for detecting large and small boxes.

All hardware connected to The slave PLC and Master has no wire but the code.

COMMUNICATION:

- Profibus: between the Master and Slave.

- MPI: between the Master and the SCADA

SOFTWARE:

- TIA Portal: for SCL code.

- WinCC: for SCADA
