Project Overview:
The ShareCare platform is designed to facilitate communication and coordination between donors (either individuals or organizations) and beneficiaries (such as needy individuals or charities) who require assistance. The platform will enable beneficiaries to submit requests for donations (monetary or in-kind, such as clothing, food, medicine, and educational tools), while donors can browse these requests and communicate directly with beneficiaries to coordinate the donation process.
The system aims to simplify the donation experience, offering transparency and ease of access to both donors and beneficiaries, with the help of real-time messaging and notifications.
Platform Features:
User Registration and Login:
Two types of users: Donors and Beneficiaries.
Donors can register as individuals or organizations and add a list of available donations.
Beneficiaries can register to submit donation requests or browse available donations.
Donation Request Management:
Beneficiaries can add, update, and delete donation requests.
Requests will include details such as donation type (money, goods, etc.), quantity, and location.
Donation Offers:
Donors can add donations (food, clothes, tools, etc.) with available quantities and location.
Beneficiaries can browse these donation offers by category and location.
Notifications:
Users will receive notifications.
Users will receive emails when a donor’s offer matches a beneficiary’s request and vice versa.
Advanced Filtering and Search:
Beneficiaries can search for donations by type and geographic location.
Donors can filter donation requests by category and location.
Feedback and Ratings:
Beneficiaries can rate donors and provide feedback after successful transactions, improving trust and transparency on the platform.
