MDI Internship Project: API Integration for Employee Task Management

Objective:

To develop and enhance a secure, scalable, and user-friendly task management system for employees, integrating modern authentication and authorization techniques.

Project Details:

Technology Stack: Java Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, REST APIs, H2-database

Key Features:

Designed and implemented CRUD RESTful APIs to manage employee task lists, supporting operations like adding, updating, deleting, and retrieving tasks.

Created a Thymeleaf-based UI for seamless interaction with backend APIs, ensuring user-friendly interfaces.

Integrated OAuth2 and JWT for secure user authentication and authorization.

Developed a role-based access control system to manage permissions and ensure data confidentiality.

Achievements:

Upgraded the application's security mechanisms to Spring Security 6, surpassing standard implementation practices.

Delivered a fully functional prototype that was robust, secure, and easily extendable for future use cases.
