Overview:
The BMW Analysis project is a comprehensive data analysis combining two separate datasets: BMW model categories and BMW sales data. The goal was to clean, transform, and merge the datasets to create a unified "BMW Dataset," which was then analyzed using Power BI to extract meaningful insights about BMW models, sales trends, and category performance.
Process and Steps:
Data Collection:
Gathered data from two sources: BMW model categories and BMW sales data.
Data Cleaning & Transformation:
Cleaned both datasets by handling missing values, correcting inconsistencies, and standardizing formats.
Applied transformations to optimize the data for analysis (renaming columns, formatting dates, etc.).
Data Merging:
Performed an inner join between the two datasets based on the car models.
Created a final unified BMW Dataset for analysis.
Data Analysis in Power BI:
Built an interactive Power BI dashboard to visualize key insights. The dashboard is divided into 3 main pages:
Models Analysis: Breakdown and performance of various BMW models.
Sales Analysis: Trends, growth, and comparison of BMW sales data.
Categories Analysis: Performance and characteristics of different BMW categories.
