SightPay | AI Program for Assisting the Visually Impaired with Financial Transactions

I developed an AI program designed to help visually impaired individuals complete financial transactions independently. The program reads invoices and identifies currencies using an audio-based system, making transactions easier and more accessible without the need for assistance.

The tools used in the program include Gemini for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract information from invoices, and Python for building and implementing the program's functionalities. Additionally, I created a custom dataset for Egyptian currency to ensure accurate recognition and handling of different currency denominations.

لقد قمت بتطوير برنامج ذكاء اصطناعي يهدف إلى مساعدة المكفوفين على إتمام المعاملات المالية بشكل مستقل. يعمل البرنامج على قراءة الفواتير وتحديد العملة باستخدام نظام صوتي، مما يسهل إجراء المعاملات بدون الحاجة إلى مساعدة من أحد.

الأدوات المستخدمة في البرنامج تشمل Gemini لاستخراج النصوص من الفواتير (OCR)، وPython لكتابة وتطوير وظائف البرنامج. كما قمت بصناعة مجموعة بيانات مخصصة للعملات المصرية لضمان التعرف الدقيق والتعامل مع فئات العملة المختلفة.
