Threefold rfs Frontend

Threefold RFS is a frontend application designed to manage the RFS server, which is responsible for creating, mounting, and extracting FungiStore lists (flists). An flist is a concise file format that describes an entire filesystem, storing metadata such as file names, sizes, and paths, but not the actual file content. This allows for efficient storage and retrieval of filesystem information from a data store.

We began the project by defining the UI requirements and layout. While the UI was being planned, I simultaneously started developing the scripts necessary for the backend functionalities. Meanwhile, my teammate focused on building the initial Vue.js templates for the interface. After completing the first prototype, we received feedback that included several modifications and additional features.

To address the feedback, we collaborated closely on implementing the necessary changes and enhancing the application. This included developing new pages for previewing flists, where I took the lead on creating the templates and writing the associated scripts. The preview pages enable users to view detailed information about flists, providing a comprehensive interface for managing filesystem representations.
