For English A Language and Literature Higher level in the IB curriculum, I had to write a 1500-word essay on Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment. Specifically, the research question was "How and to what effect does Fyodor Dostoevsky use unconventional methods of religious and philosophical discourse in Crime and Punishment to portray the consequences of extreme ideologies present in nineteenth century Russia?".
