For this scientific research work, I used Microsoft Word. I searched the internet to gather scientific information for the given topic. I started by selecting relevant studies focusing on intermittent fasting and its effects on Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). The first stage involved gathering data from various sources, including PubMed and Google Scholar, to identify studies that addressed fasting glucose levels, body weight, and insulin sensitivity in diabetic patients. I then organized the research into an evidence matrix table to compare and contrast findings. Tasks I performed include evaluating the study designs, sample sizes, and outcomes of the selected articles. Finally, I synthesized the major findings, highlighting that intermittent fasting could be a viable intervention for improving metabolic markers and glycemic control in T2D patients, with some studies showing reductions in the need for insulin therapy
