phases:
1. Planning and Design Phase
Network Diagram: Create an initial network diagram using planning tools to illustrate the locations of routers, switches, wireless access points, and servers.
Component Selection: Identify the required hardware (e.g., Cisco Routers, Switches) and plan their distribution across different locations.
2. Setup and Configuration Phase
Router and Switch Configuration: Configure routers and switches to manage traffic within the network and effectively connect all parts of the network.
Server Setup: Install and configure DNS, DHCP, Web, and Mail servers to provide essential services to all users.
Wireless Network Configuration: Set up wireless access points to cover all areas of the university, ensuring continuous and fast connectivity.
3. Testing and Quality Assurance Phase
Connectivity Testing: Ensure all devices are correctly connected and the network operates without issues. Perform Ping and TraceRoute tests to confirm connectivity.
Security Testing: Conduct security tests to protect the network from attacks and breaches. Configure ACL and Port Security.
Network Performance Testing: Measure network performance to ensure it can handle the expected traffic without any performance issues.
