'Third Culture Kids': Identity Questions in Passport Stamps

This research looks at varying existing material on the relatively new phenomenon of Third Culture Kids. Through collecting diverse information on the topic, this research aims to highlight and give a broad overview of the identity aspects that relate to Third Culture Kids and Adult Third Culture Kids. Through focusing on different aspects of identity such as acculturation, belonging, relationships, families and schools, this paper aims to note the interesting paradox of diversity and concurrent similarity in identities of Third Culture Kids. Although abundant material exists on the topic of TCKs, research on TCK identity is relatively scarce.
