Element of digital transformation

From a primarily logical perspective, the term "elements" refers to the set or group of entities or units that constitute a composition. The absence of any element results in a malfunction within the system, a deficiency in its proper representation, or an organically and objectively incomplete entity, partially similar to the complete composition. Accordingly, the elements of digital transformation are the basic components or simple units that make up any complex structure. These are considered the primary units in construction or composition. Upon disassembly, a set of elementary elements emerges, each distinguished by unique characteristics that make it distinct from other elements. However, when these elements are combined in a specific and orderly manner, they create a cohesive and complete structure capable of performing the intended task.

Importance of the Relationship Between Elements

Elements may be limited to abstract concepts, such as intangible intellectual elements, or tangible building units, connected or linked by fixed or variable interactive relationships that ensure the interaction of elements with each other to form the whole. These relationships determine the properties acquired when they are part of a larger composition.

Elements:

1.Elements are the simplest building units that cannot be simplified further.

2.Each element has properties that distinguish it from others.

3.Elements interact and intertwine to form more complex compositions.

4.Understanding the composition depends on studying the relationships between elements and how they are organized.

In the field of digital transformation, elements are divided into:

First: Formal Elements

These relate to what has been previously mentioned about the composition of elements, representing the tangible, material aspect, including:

1.Verifying the identity of the subject or message creator, their representative, or the automated information system, by granting access credentials to the virtual network, starting from purchasing a communication chip to activity credentials on the network.

2.The presence of the subject of digital transformation, representing the traditional image of the event produced by the creator.

3.The presence of media capable and responsible for the digital transformation process.

4.The digital transformation ends at the purpose for which it was created. Some end at the media of digital transformation and do not require transmission, often representing operations that suffice with storage, but some extend to:

5.The necessity of having internal or external communication media capable of linking the sender to the recipient for mutual benefit, for commercial, economic, political, individual, or collective gain. Public purposes are usually non-profit and directed towards benefiting one party, such as citizens or legal entities, as the nature of their activity is aimed at serving the public interest, like public service institutions belonging to the state or the public sector.

Second: Functional or Subjective Elements

Since the field of digital transformation is concerned with software, formal elements include the hardware previously mentioned. Functional elements include software such as applications, as follows:

1.Digital transformation processes: Their ability to translate traditional signals, such as images, sounds, etc., into a digital value that can be stored and then displayed in the virtual environment.

2.The ability of software to manage and control all stages of communication with the recipient while ensuring security and safety by securing the data.

3.The ability of recipient software to manage the acknowledgment of the receipt of the sender's message.
