hard starting in diesel engine

There are many causes for hard  starting in diesel engine.

The fuel pressure in the injector liness bleeding back to the fuel tank is one of the major problems that diesel engines experience in the morning and asthis leads in the end to hard starting.Inadequate  fuel delivery or pressure is another common cause for hard starting diesel engines. This accurs due to a dirty fuel filter, injectors, and even contaminated fuel. There are a lot of difficulties when starting the engine in cold weather. Diesel engine is harder to start than gasoline because it requires much higher temperature to ignite the fuel. Thicker oil makes the bearings and moving parts move with difficulty for the  engine to start, because they create and increased resistance. Oil beings to break down chemically ones it oxidizes. This creates black engine sludge which destroy the diesel engine if it is not cleaned or maintained. There are many solutions for hard starting engine. When this pressure problem accurs, you have to crank the engin over quite a number of time. To clean any gunk build up, it is recommended to run two cans of diesel purge through your engine. You can replace the pump or the check valve
