The main objective of this project is to analyze and visualize the sales data of a pizza business, providing actionable insights into sales trends, performance by pizza category, and customer preferences. This will be achieved using Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and MySQL for managing the database.

Project Overview:

Data Extraction and Preparation:

Extract sales data from the provided PDF report and other possible sources.

Clean and preprocess the data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Import the cleaned data into a MySQL database for efficient management and querying.

Database Management:

Design and create a relational database in MySQL to store the sales data.

Write SQL queries to retrieve specific data points, such as total revenue, number of orders, and pizza categories.

Data Analysis:

Use SQL queries to perform preliminary analysis on the sales data.

Identify key metrics such as total revenue, average order value, total pizzas sold, and average pizzas per order.

Analyze daily and monthly trends in total orders and revenue.

Determine the best and worst selling pizzas by revenue and quantity.

Data Visualization:

Connect Power BI to the MySQL database to retrieve real-time data.

Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize key insights.

Visualizations include bar charts, pie charts, and line graphs to represent sales trends over time.

Use filters and slicers to allow users to drill down into specific details, such as sales by date, pizza category, or size.

Reporting:

Generate comprehensive reports summarizing the findings.

Provide insights and recommendations based on the data analysis.
