An exploration of the scene of the bridge in The Great Gatsby 2013

Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1929 book with the same name, The Great Gatsby is a film adaptation that was released in 2013 gaining worldwide success. Upon its release, it also received several reviews and was the topic of many discussions where critics classified it as a successful adaptation claiming that it kept the essence of the novel, and it is generally loyal to the original book. Many elements contribute to this loyalty and among the most important ones are the dialogues and monologues as well as the cinematic techniques used by the director which will be discussed in relation to the scene of the bridge which is present both in the book and the film.
